Benia at the San Diego airport. It was a long night for us and we still haven't made it to the hotel.
Don is just happy to be on solid ground finally. A few too many drinks the night before and about 2 hours of sleep do not make for pleasant traveling.
A shot of Tio Leo's Mexican restaurant from the 7th floor of the Mariott Del Mar. We ate dinner here and the food was very tasty. We had the entire place to ourselves because it seemed that the rest of the world was watching the Stupor Bowl.
The beach at Torrey Pines Preserve.

A lonely beachcomber. A rock is serving as the photographer for this shot. Darn thing didn't hold the camera straight!

I have no idea what this thing was. It appeared to be alive. I lightly touched it and there was a slight response. It was pretty soft. Let me know if you can identify it.
This is a gathering place for tiny hermit crabs. By the way they were moving, I don't think any of these shells are inhabited by the creatures that originally created them.

The patient hunter.
It's a water slide! Well, at least water slides down it. This is not for people. It was an iteresting approach to limiting erosion.
Some houses right on the beach in Del Mar, CA.
This is the voice command area where people can let the dogs out without leashes. I sat and watched them play for a while, there weren't even any fights.
