We have had a lot of rain over the past few weeks. It really fueled some amazing growth in Native Suburbia. We are surrounded by lush green vegetation and a plethora of wildlife. Most of that wildlife nibbles on grass or scoops up berries, but one visitor that showed up by the thousands is sucking all my blood! There are so many mosquitos outside that I cannot be out there for more than a minute without being surrounded by them. I wonder what they are eating when I am not out there. The poor bunnies must be covered in mosquito bites. I don't know how many bats it would take to eat all of those mosquitos, but I wish a few would stop by my yard to put a dent in their population.
