Wood nettle (Laportea canadensis) found its way into a section of tall grasses. We think it may have hitchhiked back with some plants we brought from Wisconsin. While it is native, we decided not to let it grow in Native Suburbia due to its stinging hairs which can irritate the skin with formic acid.
