The woodland area in front of the house looks nice, but continues to be rather sparse. We just keep planting and waiting. Notice the river birch (Betula nigra) next to our house. The neighbor with the red door is threatening to chop it back to the property line, just because it drops seeds, twigs, and leaves. It is sad to see how much people hate nature.
