The mighty hunter lunges for an unlucky bumblebee that happened to fly in while I was setting up a shot. I didn't interfere, but the bee did manage to escape at the last second with some frantic wriggling. The spider won't go hungry though. Notice the neatly wrapped package in the upper right corner. Close inspection reveals that it contains another bee. So that is the end of a bee and the end of the summer in Native Suburbia.
