We bought the seeds at The Natural Garden in St. Charles, IL. It is a nursery which was recommended in several books that I read concerning native plants and we were pleased to find that it was located relatively close to our house. We bought mixtures of seeds representing a variety of forbs and grasses. The Natural Garden also sells single species seeds as well as young plants for those that are less patient. We went with seeds because it would have exceeded our budget to buy enough live plants to cover our entire yard.
