I avoided the path when spreading the seed. Of course we are expecting to walk on it. I am not sure how it will work out once the prairie plants start to flourish. My backup plan is to just mow the path. I would like it if a native, low growing ground cover would thrive between the stones of the path. Unfortunately, I have not found anything other than moss that fits that description. The dryness of our yard does not provide the right habitat for moss though.
