Things are pretty wet in this area with the overflow from the rain garden. This caused some issues with the wall, which partially collapsed when the foundation shifted in the mud. In order to make the water behave a little better, I dug a shallow trench between the wall and the path. This keeps the majority of the water away from both of them.
